I’ve written here, here, and here about Microsoft’s blunders, issues, and possible coming demise. Oh, and here, here, and here. There are others – trust me. I am not against Microsoft at all. What I am against is their failure to adopt new business paradigms, their total lack of respect for users (product activation failures), [...]
*May not work with your Vista computer. What a pain – Vista has been out for months, AOL 9.0 VR is supposed to work with Vista, and guess what? It doesn’t. After the technician made sure that I had enough memory, turn off Aero, adjust for best performance, tinker with the paging file, and even [...]
Well, it seems the latest update to Motorola Phone Tools has created some instabilities to the program, or at least Mobile Phone Tools with Vista. I know of one person that is getting a com port error, and when I use bluetooth, it returns “…if you are performing an “Over the Air” sync or backup [...]

Download the latest drivers here [Updated November 25, 2007 – the link now will take you to the latest drivers, dated November 5, 2007). You will have to register for the site, but it is free. Download the appropriate file, either the [...]

It seems that the last round of updates either enable a disabled Windows Firewall, and/or disabled or [...]
I upgraded (or reinstalled, I don’t know which) to Opera 9.1.
I was using OpenOffice’s Impress today, and discovered when I tried to import a file, the file list would not stay in place in order to actually select a file type. As soon as you moved your mouse from the drop-down button to select an item on the list, the list disappeared.
