WARNING: RANT
I think I am going to puke the next time a so-called expert tells a website client that the reason their web site does not do well in search engine rankings is that they don’t have meta-tags on the site pages, and the site needs to be submitted to search engines.
If all you know about SEO is what is being regurgitated from 10 years ago, maybe you should go to work at Sams Club selling their SEO service. Or, better yet, learn some new skills in another industry because you sure don’t know squat about this business. The only thing I ask is that you quit screwing up customers’ ideas about search engines and Internet marketing if you don’t know shit. In the medical business you would be called a quack.
I would challenge you to an SEO smackdown, except that I would not want to show you how to do something we’ve learned how to do the hard way.
Sheesh. Amateurs.
